Mannheim, mit der BUGA75 (Luisenpark) erleben.....

Ja, wo fangen wir an. Unbewusst am Hauptbahnhof Mannheim in die Straßenbahn zur BUGA23 eingestiegen und nur unbewusst dann festgestellt das es die Richtung Luisenpark war...

Wir sind dann durch den Luisenpark am Haupteingang gegangen und direkter Weg zum Buga23 Seilbahnstation gelaufen um erst das BUGA23 Gelände zu erforschen und erleben, dann wieder zurück in den Luisenpark (BUGA75) um das Pflanzenschauhaus und die Pinguine zu erleben. Dann kam der Hunger so langsam zu uns, so das wir wieder zum BUGA23 Gelände zurückgefahren sind um meiner Empfehlung vom ASIA Streetfood nachzukommen, was wir dann auch gerne gemacht hatten (beide das gleiche Essen genommen, ok einmal Spicy und einmal - für mich, nicht 😆😋), nach der erneuten Tour durch einen Teil des BUGA23 Geländes und einer schönen laaaangen Rast im Biergarten am i-Punkt Grün (genau gegenüber dem Rosengarten) überlegt über welchen Park wir die Heimreise antreten und wir sind dann mit der Seilbahn zum 4. mal zum Luisenpark gefahren und von dort den gleichen Heimweg angetreten - also gefahren…..

Gibt vieles Positives zu vermelden, der Preis von € 28,- ist eigentlich nicht überteuert. Klar das BUGA23 Gelände ist mit Schatten nicht sooo sehr beglückt, aber wir waren wegen dem Wetter auch relativ früh da um erst vormittags das neue Gelände zu erkunden - was aber sehr schön war, auch der weitläufige Bereich in der Parkschale Käfertal am nördlichen Rand des Spinelligeländes war sehr gut zu erlaufen und auch später war das Wetter, mit dem leichten Wind sehr angenehm.

Die freundlichen Gespräche mit meiner Begleitung und die superfreundliche Bedienung vom Biergarten am i-Punkt Grün, auch über die Essens- und Getränkepreise waren superschön und die Preise für alles waren absolut in Ordnung und keineswegs überteuert. Es gibt sogar etliche Wasserspender wo man kostenlos Wasser klauen - ääähhh tinken kann und auch den Kopf kühlen kann.

Für mich der kleine oder doch großer Wermutstropfen ist das abmähen der wunderschönen Wildwiesenfläche z.B. am Conversio: Philipp Morlock (BUGA23), da waren so schöne große Wildwiesenflächen drumherum, die die Natur direkt in Beschlag nehmen könnte - aber nein die Stadt muss ja Mähen, schön mähen und - da ist noch Wildnatur mähen. mähen.. mähen... Ich habs nicht fotografiert, aber vielleicht möchte der Hr. Riehle ja aus der „ungenutzten Fläche“ einen Kulturbereich schaffen, da würde Wildnatur natürlich stören (meine persönliche Meinung…).

Das auch der Fernmeldeturm jetzt €12,- zusätzlich kostet und nicht Bestandteil der BUGA ist, das ist tatsächlich ein seht überteuerter Preis.

Yes, where do we start. Unconsciously at the train main station Mannheim in the streetcar to the BUGA23 entered and only unconsciously then found that it was the direction Luisenpark...

We then walked through the Luisenpark at the main entrance and direct way to the Buga23 cable car station to explore and experience first the BUGA23 area, then back to the Luisenpark (BUGA75) to experience the plant show house and the penguins. Then the hunger came so slowly to us, so that we went back again to the BUGA23 area to follow my recommendation of the ASIA Streetfood, which we had then also gladly made (both the same food taken, ok once Spicy and once - for me, not 😆😋), after the renewed tour through part of the BUGA23 area and a nice loooong rest in the beer garden at the i-Punkt Grün (exactly opposite the Rose Garden) thought about which park we start the journey home and we are then with the cable car to the 4th time to the Luisenpark. times to the Luisenpark driven and from there the same way home started - thus driven.....

Is a lot of positive things to report, the price of € 28, - is actually not overpriced. Sure the BUGA23 area is not sooo much graced with shade, but we were because of the weather also relatively early there to explore only in the morning the new area - which was very nice, but also the extensive area in the Parkschale (park bowl (Green area)) Käfertal on the northern edge of the Spinelliarea was very good to walk and even later the weather, with the light wind was very pleasant.

The friendly conversations with my companion and the super friendly service from the beer garden at the i-Punkt Grün, also about the food and drink prices were super nice and the prices for everything were absolutely fine and not at all overpriced. There are even quite a few water dispensers where you can steal - uhh drink water for free and also cool your head.

For me the small or nevertheless large fly in the ointment is the mowing of the beautiful wild meadow area e.g. at the Conversio: Philipp Morlock (BUGA23), there were so beautiful large wild meadow areas around, which nature could take directly in seizure - but no the city must yes Mähen, mow beautifully and - there is still wild nature mowing. mowing... mowing.... I have not photographed it, but perhaps Mr. Riehle would like to create a cultural area from the "unused area", as wild nature would of course disturb (my personal opinion...).

That also the telecommunications tower now €12, - additionally costs and is not part of the BUGA, that is actually a very overpriced price.
