20. & 21.07.2013 Khon Kaen (Hauptstadt des Landkreises (Amphoe) Mueang Khon Kaen) - Unser Appartment für eine Nacht:
Khon Kaen (thailändisch ขอนแก่น) ist die Hauptstadt des Landkreises (Amphoe) Mueang Khon Kaen und der Provinz Khon Kaen in der Nordostregion von Thailand, dem Isan:
Blick in unsere „Wellness-Oase". Rechts hinter der Tür ist das WC und links ist die Dusche zu sehen. Auf dem Bild nicht zu sehen waren unsere „Mitbewohner".
Nach einer langen Busfahrt (genau 8 Stunden) von Bangkok (BKK) nach Khon Kaen sind wir am 20.07.2013 im Appartement angekommen.
Dort wartete auf uns die bisher zweite Überraschung-nämlich unser Appartement, das eher an eine große Gefängniszelle erinnert. Zugeben es muss einen Preisunterschied geben, aber trotz umgerechnet knapp €13,- (500 Bath) haben wir uns nach nur einer Nacht entschlossen ein richtiges Hotelzimmer aufzusuchen.

View into our "wellness oasis". On the right behind the door is the WC and on the left you can see the shower. Not to be seen on the picture were our "roommates".
After a long bus ride (exactly 8 hours) from Bangkok (BKK) to Khon Kaen we arrived at the apartment on 20.07.2013.
There the second surprise was waiting for us - namely our apartment, which reminds us more of a big prison cell. Admittedly there must be a price difference, but despite the converted price of €13,- (500 Bath) we decided after only one night to find a real hotel room.
